StealthSuite Documentation
Welcome to the official documentation for StealthSuite. This guide will help you install, configure, and master your privacy-first developer copilot.
1. Introduction
StealthSuite is the ultimate privacy-first AI Copilot designed for highly focused coding sessions and presentations. It runs entirely in the background of your Mac, utilizing local transcription and context-awareness to provide you with real-time architectural and coding insights without disrupting your workflow.
Key Features:
- Distraction-Free Overlay: Native OS exclusion keeps your private AI notes hidden from Google Meet, Zoom, and MS Teams screen sharing. It does not appear in your Dock or the Cmd+Tab switcher.
- Local Whisper Transcription: 100% private, zero-lag local audio transcription.
- Instant Insights: Powered by the fastest AI models (Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic) to give you architectural guidance before you even finish formulating the problem.
- Vision / Context Capture: Instantly analyze complex architecture diagrams and code blocks by snapping a quick context screenshot.
2. Installation
Installing StealthSuite is designed to be quick and secure.
- Download the App: Download the .dmg file from your purchase email.
- Install to Applications: Open the .dmg and drag the StealthSuite icon into your Applications folder.
- Launch the App: Open StealthSuite from your Applications folder or Spotlight. (Note: Because it is a background utility, you will not see an icon in your dock!)
- Activate your License: Upon first launch, a License Gate will appear. Paste the license key you received in your purchase email to unlock the app.
- Setup Wizard: Follow the brief onboarding screen to input your free Gemini API key (or OpenAI/Anthropic key) so the "Brain" can function.
3. Quick Start (Mastering the Shortcuts)
Because StealthSuite is a background agent, there is no traditional user interface to click. You control everything using Global Keyboard Shortcuts from anywhere on your Mac.
TIP
Pro Tip: If you ever forget these shortcuts, just press Cmd + Space to open Spotlight, type "StealthSuite" and hit Enter. This will instantly force the hidden windows to reveal themselves!

4. Audio Routing (Crucial for Meetings & Presentations)
To allow StealthSuite to transcribe audio from remote team members speaking through your headphones or speakers, you must route your Mac's "System Audio" into the application.
By default, Macs do not allow apps to record system audio. You will need a free virtual audio cable to act as a bridge.
Step-by-Step Setup:
- Download BlackHole: Download and install the free BlackHole 2ch virtual audio driver.
- Open Audio MIDI Setup: Open the Audio MIDI Setup app on your Mac (search for it in Spotlight).
- Create a Multi-Output Device: Click the
+button in the bottom left and select "Create Multi-Output Device". - Check the boxes: Check the box for your Headphones/Speakers AND check the box for "BlackHole 2ch".
- Set Mac Output: In your Mac's System Settings > Sound, set your Output to the new "Multi-Output Device".
- Set StealthSuite Input: Open the StealthSuite Chat window (
Cmd + Shift + C), and ensure it has permission to use the microphone. StealthSuite will now "hear" everything played through BlackHole!
5. Troubleshooting
WARNING
The app is running, but I can't find it! This is by design! StealthSuite is designed to be unobtrusive. Press Cmd + Shift + V or Cmd + , to summon the windows. If you still can't see it, search for StealthSuite in Spotlight and hit Enter to force it to show up.
Q: The AI is listening, but not providing answers.
Solution: Press Cmd + , to open Settings. Ensure your API Key (e.g., Google Gemini) is entered correctly and hasn't expired.
Q: The transcript isn't picking up external voices.
Solution: This means your Audio Routing is incorrect. Make sure your Zoom/Meet audio output is set to the "Multi-Output Device" and BlackHole is installed.
Q: I get a permissions error when pressing Cmd + Shift + S.
Solution: Your Mac is blocking the app from taking screenshots. Go to your Mac's System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording and toggle the switch ON for StealthSuite.
Q: How do I completely close the app?
Solution: Because it doesn't show in the Dock or Force Quit menu, you must press Cmd + Shift + Q to close it, or click the "Quit StealthSuite" button inside the Settings menu (Cmd + ,).
